High School English Teacher - August 2027

I hope to be employed as a high school English teacher a few months after earning my bachelor's degree and teaching certification. I know that high school is one of the toughest periods in the average person's life, and I'd like to help struggling students in whatever way I can. When I was in high school, I was no stranger to problems at home and at school, so I understand the problems a lot of kids in high school face. My goal is to be a role model for all students. I want them to feel comfortable enough to talk to me when looking for guidance, and I want to be seen as an inspirational figure for them.
