Walker Holder

I'm an English major at the University of Florida and I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree. My ultimate goal is to go beyond my bachelor's degree and earn my master's degree so I can become a state college professor for English, preferably at the University of Florida. I've already began my work career at UF, recently being accepted as a Telephone Interviewer for the University of Florida Survey Research Center. I'm also currently working as a substitute teacher for the Gilchrist County School District, and I have industry certifications in Microsoft Word 2013, Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, and Microsoft Excel 2013. These certifications, which I earned in 7th and 8th grade, have supplemented my ability to complete school assignments at four separate institutions: Trenton High School in Trenton, Florida, Florida Gateway College in Lake City, Florida, Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida, and the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. I have a passion for teaching and setting a good example for the future generation. By doing what I do, I hope I can make a positive difference in a student's life, guiding and helping them along the way, no matter what issues they may be facing.
